ANAHEIM – Pastor Vicki Rufsvold was deep into delivering her
Sunday sermon at Faith Lutheran Church of West Anaheim and it
was going well.

But she was unaware that thieves, just yards from the pulpit,
were ransacking her office. Police say the women stole several
hundred dollars.

On the video, the women can be seen rifling through drawers and
cabinets. The pastor said her cell, wallet, and car keys were
also taken, along with a donation check meant to help fund a new
marquee for the aging church.

The women were in and out in about two minutes, according to
timestamps on the surveillance footage that shows them stopping
to snatch a box of scones and other snacks meant for the post-
service reception on their way out of the building.

The women ran up about $1,000 in credit card charges before the
pastor and her husband, Mike, canceled the cards, the pastor
said.

The donation check was canceled.

“It’s a real violation,” Rufsvold said as she gazed down at her
empty hands. “It hurts when I see the video. They’re in my
office ... my space.”

On Tuesday, a pensive pastor said: “It’s just stuff. ... I love
them (the thieves). I forgive them, and I’d love to have my
phone back.”

The phone held photos of the pastor’s late daughter.

Church officials posted security footage to their Facebook page
late Sunday. Anyone can report a tip anonymously to the Orange
County Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS (855-847-6227) or
www.occrimestoppers.org.

Good! The Bible plainly states that women aren't supposed to teach men
so this woman is a heretic just like the rest of the Lutheran
denomination - which is no longer a real Christian church.

It's poetic justice that she was robbed by other women. It's just too
bad that they were atheists instead of other Lutherans, but they may as
well be.

Ya know, apart from the blood libel of the trolls, it's most likely that
the thieves were members of the church. Otherwise, they wouldn't have
known where the office was, what the church's schedule was, and the
layout of the office.
